Moe Elmunaier owns and runs Ponderosa Heating & Air Conditioning out of the shop on South Golden Road. The company works across Golden and the southwest Denver suburbs, and up into the foothills towns above them — heating, cooling, water heaters, gas fireplaces, generators, plumbing and electrical.
Colorado licenses electricians and plumbers at state level. It does not license HVAC — mechanical work is regulated by whichever city or county the job sits in. That makes a contractor's state registrations one of the few credentials a homeowner can actually look up before letting someone into the house. Ponderosa holds two, both current, both searchable on the Colorado DORA license lookup: Electrical Contractor registration EC 103497 and Plumbing Contractor registration PC 5484. Ponderosa Heating and Air, LLC is in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State, and the business is BBB Accredited with an A+ rating. We would rather point you at numbers you can verify than adjectives you cannot. If you want to check any of that before booking work, you should.
Heating and cooling is the core of the work — furnaces, boilers, air conditioning, water heaters and gas fireplaces. Ponderosa also carries Colorado contractor registrations for electrical and plumbing, which covers panel and outlet work, whole-house generators, and plumbing repairs and replacements.
